Bahia Honda State Park Campgrounds
Located in the beautiful Florida Keys, Bahia Honda State Park is one of the best campgrounds in south Florida on the beach. This state park has three campgrounds – Buttonwood, Sandspur, and Bayside and offers space for tents and RVs. Cabins are also available for rent and usually are booked well in advance.
The campgrounds are clean and simple, also close to the beach. There are a total of 80 campsites in Bahia Honda State Park and each campsite also has a fire ring, grate, and table. There are drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, and dump station facilities in the campground. The campground store has a few supplies but it is only a 10-minute ride to the grocery store.
The only downside about this campground is the traffic noise.
Activities: Plenty of sandy beaches where you can go swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Other things that you can do here – biking, hiking, windsurfing, fishing, and kayaking.

Curry Hammock State Park: Best Campsites in Florida

There are a total of 39 campsites for tents and RVs with free WiFi. The location of this Florida campground is really great, you can enjoy direct beach access. The beach is gorgeous and the sunset is breathtaking. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Even they offer laundry service.

The park is very well maintained, the rangers were very friendly and the bathroom is pretty clean with flowers in the lavatory area.

Jonathan Dickinson State Park: Best Campgrounds in Florida
Jonathan Dickinson State Park is one of the best camping in Florida State Park. The campground is extremely quiet. If you are looking for nature and serenity, this campground will never fail to provide. Only a half an hour drive from West Palm Beach and this State Park is like entering a whole different Florida where you find no beach, no outlet malls, or high rise building – only Nature.
Jonathan Dickinson State Park consists of two family campgrounds: Pine Grove (90 sites) and River (45 sites). Both campgrounds can accommodate tents, and RVs, and trailers. Each campsite also has water & electric hookups as well as a table, fire ring, and grate.
There are numerous trails for biking or hiking. Visitors can rent canoes and paddle on the Loxahatchee River.
Tips: Jonathan Dickinson State Park offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy fun, family educational programs every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and a nature walk on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. Book your campsite well in advance.

Florida Caverns State Park(Marianna)
Florida Caverns State Park is the only state park in Florida with a dry cave that offers regular public tours. There are 35 campsites with electric and water hookups for RV and tent camping. All campsites are spacious and are shaded by trees. Fort De Soto Park Campground

Cyprus Creek Preserve is ideal for campers who are looking for free camping in Florida. It is a quiet and secluded park located in Land O Lakes. Keep it in mind, as it’s a free campsite, you have to arrange electricity and water. The campground offers fire rings, picnic tables, and restrooms. Primitive as well as equestrian camping is available in Cyprus Creek Preserve.
All campsites are located in the southern part of the preserve. Prior reservation(free) and obtaining a gate code are mandatory to access the site. There is a paved multi-use trail of 5 miles. In addition, the site has many hiking and biking trails for hikers, off-road bikers, and horseback riders. All these trails are dog-friendly.
